KarteiDeckThe app
KarteiDeck 3.1 does not require an account and does not include advertising, tracking, analytics, an AI service or a purchase SDK. The developer does not receive your study activity through the app.
Learning data and preferences
The app stores vocabulary progress, review schedules, Russian alphabet recall progress, study activity and preferences on your device. Drawing strokes used during letter practice are part of the practice screen, rather than a handwriting recognition service.
Backups and deletion
If you export a backup, you choose where to save or share it. A chosen cloud storage or sharing provider may receive that file. Device backups are also subject to your Apple settings and Apple’s policies. Use the app’s reset controls to clear the selected learning data; exported copies and device backups must be managed separately.
Speech and reminders
Pronunciation uses Apple’s speech voices. Downloading additional voices is managed through your device settings and Apple’s services. Optional study reminders use local notifications and require your permission. You can change notification permission in iOS Settings.
Support
If you email support, the developer receives your email address and the information you choose to include. It is used to respond and investigate your request. Email is handled by the email providers involved. Please do not include sensitive information that is unnecessary for support.
This website
This static website is hosted by Vercel. Hosting providers may process ordinary request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and protect the site. This website uses Vercel Web Analytics to measure page views and visits. Website analytics are separate from the KarteiDeck app and do not include your study progress. The site does not use advertising trackers. Following a link to Apple or another service is subject to that service’s privacy policy.
Earlier app versions
This policy describes version 3.1. Earlier versions included different services. Any purchases or subscriptions previously made through Apple are managed through your Apple account.
